I had a lot of photoshop work to finish when I got home tonight … needless to say I didn’t finish it all.
Today’s image was taken with a dreadful digital camera … (I worked with a few of those today) … dark image … poor lighting … blurry … color was off … no amount of sharpening on any level was going to restore what wasn’t there … so I desaturated it … applied gradient and posterization filters and sharpened it to death … a different look … but you should see the original! BLECH!
The following picture was taken back stage at a dinner ballet on February 14, 2004. It was Stephanie’s last year in the Ballet Company before she went off to university.

Ahhh … I was very fortunate to go on two awesome vacations last year … Germany for 2 weeks and NYC for 5 days. It had been FOREVER since I’d been anywhere!! I am SO lucky!! Love ya D!
Me and my best friend planned to go to Manhattan to see Wicked and ended up planning 5 days of non-stop entertainment! We saw and did everything!! From Madame Tussaud’s for pictures with the stars to Carvel for ice cream. I took nearly 800 pictures!

Recently I decided to create a family tree … I am currently stuck at the 7th generation. I have tons of family pictures … from many deceased family members. Pictures of people I know are related to me but I have no idea who they are …
Have you ever run across a box of your mom’s pictures? Without dates and names you could get lost rather quickly. My great Aunt gets lots of love from me!!! She is the ONLY relative that meticulously labeled her photos!!
Well here is picture #6 … it’s a picture of someone related to (or a friend of) someone on my mom’s side of the family. I personally believe it is my mom’s mom’s father.

Kelly had a brilliant plan to surprise Stephanie with a wedding shower last year. She was SO suprised!! After the shower some of us went out to the club to celebrate.
Well the Bamboo Room has changed since that night … Stephanie is married and expecting her first baby … things will never be the same but we’ll have memories … and … a bunch of pictures.
